  • Students can be challenged to create stories within the 140 characters allowed for every tweet.

  • The Daily Quote can also encourage students to a further discussion on the message or author of the quote.

  • Polling is another alternative to let students express their ideas and opinions on a issue. Answers can be analyzed during a class discussion.
When using hashtags (#), students can discover a great numbers of opinions or tweets on the matter. This information canbe also brought to class to initiate a debate.
